Veronica’s roots in yoga go way back to when she was a little one “practicing” alongside her mother on the living room floor. Through the twists and turns of life yoga has provided a magnetic pull to the mat that keeps her grounded, present and full of spirit.
Her aim as a yoga teacher is to hold space for every student with warmth and sensitivity while offering pathways for growth and transformation. Through the powerful alchemy of yoga and travel, Veronica fosters opportunities for students to meet themselves in their essence in this moment to make change through the act of radical self-love and acceptance. Stepping outside of our comfort zones through travel makes space for us to let go of long-held narratives about ourselves and others. Known for her playful approach to asana, Veronica loves to weave yoga philosophy, meditation, and pranayama with intelligent alignment and sequencing.
As an avid student of yoga Veronica has thousands of hours of training under her belt including teacher trainings with Maty Ezraty, Seane Corn, and Sara Strother. Veronica has taught yoga in many different places including Yosemite, Costa Rica, Panama and a variety of places across the midwest. Passionate about giving back through yoga, she has also lead trips at Partners in Health in Haiti where she ran volunteer yoga teacher training programs for patients with cancer and hospital staff. Veronica is a birth doula, Spanish-speaker, and mother who specializes in prenatal/postpartum yoga, yoga therapy, restorative yoga, yoga for scoliosis, and more.
