Rebecca Butler

Rebecca Butler has been practicing yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2008. Sheʼs studied with many yoga masters, the most influential of which are Ana Forrest and Baron Baptiste. She teaches in a unique style of meticulous flow designed to help you progress in your practice through a healing combination of strength and flexibility.

In 2012, her mother passed from ALS (Lou Gehrigʼs disease). In the journey of slowly losing her mother, Rebecca learned that mobility and vitality are gifts to be savored, not squandered. She considers it her mission to spread this viewpoint. She also draws on the spiritual teachingʼs of many masters such as Anita Moorjani, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, Caroline Myss and Brene Brown to create her inspiring approach to life summed up in two words: Choose Joy. Her classes will leave you physically satiated and spiritually uplifted. She is the lead teacher and studio manager at Karmany Yoga in Fort Worth, TX. She has recently become a retreat leader for The Travel Yogi and will led her first retreat to Aruba and inaugurated her Choose Joy curriculum in 2014.
